This sporty mid-cabin cruiser was the flagship boat for Regal in the 1980's. She was one of the most popular boats of her era. She rides on a modified V-hull and sports a 17 degree deadrise aft. Accomodations include a very roomy salon with a circular dinette area, a private forward stateroom, a full galley and a spacious head with a stall shower. Topside, she features cockpit seating for six, a transom bench, foredeck sun pad and a bow pulpit. Her solid fiberglass hull has prop pockets to reduce draft and increase efficiency. She was manufactured from 1985 to 1990.
36 Regal History: The 380/400/402 Regal Commodores had their beginnings in the 360 Commodore. Regal began to evolve a vessel using the 36 Commodore as a base. At the Miami Boat Show Regal decided showcase the only (4) Commodores with these upgrades. As the newer models came to market as Regal renamed them as the 380/400/402 all having the same basic Features. The Regal that you are viewing today could actually be called a 380 since the integrated swim platform was added. This was the main selling point of the 380. The 360 had no integrated platform just a bolted on wooden platform. Then Regal re-branded the 360 in 1991 as the 380 Commodore and in 1993, she became the 400 Commodore.
